SOCIAL SECURITY, WORK AND OCCUPATION IN THE AMAZON: NOTES ON THE AGRICULTURAL PROCESS OF PARÁ IN THE 19TH CENTURY

Abstract

The present work makes a brief analysis of historiography about events of the Pará’s Agricultural History, having as a perspective temporal the second half of the Brazilian Empire, seeking to recover the various aspects attributed to the world of agriculture, in the context of implementation of the centers of agricultural colonization of Pará Oitocentista, seeking to dialogue with the results and perceptions promoted by vast academic and bibliographic production.
