About the Journal
Mnemosine is an electronic scientific journal in the field of history, which belongs to the Postgraduate
Program in History of the Federal University of campina Grande, published every six months. Since its creation in 2010,
it has been structured with the objective of reflecting on issues related to the dimensions of the field of history, especially
taking into account the themes Culture, Power and Identity and Culture and the City. Over the years
we have had different themes in the dossiers proposed for the editors of Mnemosine Magazine and
different timeframes with articles resulting from researchers in the field of Human and Social
Sciences, especially Historical Science. Detachable dossiers composed of articles by researchers who
have collaborated with original and unpublished themes, always in an interdisciplinary perspective.
Following its Editorial Line of constituting itself as a space provided to all disciplinary fields,
specialties, temporalities and historical issues, it has offered the general and specialized public
a diversity of approaches in its thematic dossiers. Therefore, we propose the creation of the MNEMOSINE
REVISTA , semiannual electronic vehicle, in the form of a scientific article, reviews, publication
of unpublished documents and interviews with historians as a product of the research carried out by
students and professors of the Graduate Programs in Brazil and abroad.
Given the above, we emphasize that the main purpose of our journal is to constitute a democratic
space of virtual accessibility for debate, discussions that result in original ideas and theoretical,
methodological and documentary research initiatives that will provide the enrichment of historical
knowledge along the way. interdisciplinary dialogue.
